JOHANNES FAKTOTUM, meaning “jack-of-all-trades” was a high tech men's fashion brand focused on quality and craftsmanship. The collection combined modern athleticism and sleek tailoring. Technical fabrics were used in combination with luxe knitwear to create a utilitarian wardrobe that was both functional and innovative.
As the Founder and Creative Director, I launched the brand in 2009 and successfully launched 5 collections and presented at New York and Paris Fashion Week. I oversaw all aspects of the business including pattern making, materials sourcing, costing, sales, marketing, graphic design, production, and technical packages.
The line sold internationally in boutiques such as Triple Major in Beijing and DDC Lab in NYC. Johannes Faktotum received notable press and was named one of the "Magnificent Seven" designers by the NY Times Style Magazine.
